Introducing Liam's Godparents!

This week has marked a very special time for our family. As we asked my sister Colette and her husband Quinn to be Liam's godparents! Well they said YES, and we are all so thrilled for this. Colette and Quinn have been married for almost two years, and have been together as a couple for over 8 years...I lost count (: They are such a wonderful couple that carry a very strong faith. We are so excited that Liam will have them as his godparents we are ensured they will guide him with thier strong faith, love, and compassion so that Liam is able to be the best he can be!

So cheers to you Colette and Quinn, we love you so much and we thank you!

We are all really looking forward to this upcoming Sunday May 2nd as this is the day Liam will be baptised!

Liam in Week 5

April 22nd marked Liams one month of age, and boy did that first month fly by! As we are now in week 5 of Liam's life we are all doing wonderful. Liam's sleep schedule is maintaining at about 3 to 4 hours of sleep at a time, so once we do that 2 or 3 times night we are all pretty refreshed for the next day (:

We did take our first trip to the Zoo last Friday, April 23rd with My sister and Liam's aunt Michelle. Liam did wonderful there as he slept most of the time ha, but when he was awake he loved the jelly fish tank! I was happy about that since the aquarium is my favorite part of the zoo also. We were also able to try out the Baby Bjorn carrier and he liked that also~ After the zoo we also went and had a wonderful dinner with my parents and sister!

Liam has been such a wonderful baby! He has brought so much joy and happiness to our family! Our two dogs Oreo and Ella are responding to him very well also! Liam is often very observant and cheerful when he is awake. I have been told that he is an early smiler...I think I saw his first real smile when he was between 2 and 3 weeks old, and now at 4 weeks old his smiles are continuous! He is starting to warm up to tummy time, and is becoming very strong! He loves looking at his black and white picture book, I actually think his attention span is longer than mine! He is also still loving his swing!

Liam is almost 24-inches long and is wearing mostly only 3-month cloths!

Liam certainly is a growing boy, and he is hungry very often. So hungry some days that I actually called his doctor at some point to make sure it was normal to want to eat every hour and for up to 45minutes at a time some days...well responses for his continuous hunger ranged from a growth spurt, acid reflux, to just comfort sucking. So one solution is that we have been trying to introduce him to a binky that he likes to help ease his "sucking" desires. So this week we finally found a binky that he will take! This has been helpful when it is unclear if he is hungry or just wanting to suck (:
